Florida drivers are required to move over
one lane or slow down when approaching
law enforcement, emergency, sanitation, utility service
vehicle and tow trucks or wreckers that are stopped on
the road. If you can’t move over, or are traveling on a
two-lane road, slow to a speed that is 20 mph less than
the posted speed limit.
